Today´s poster is a Tupac Shakur poster. The American rapper was born on June 16th 1971 and died an early death on September 13th 1996. He was 25.
Along with a top selling artist, Tupac Shakur was also a film actor and prominent social activist. Most of Tupac Shakur´s songs are are about growing up amid violence and hardship, racism, social problems and conflicts with fellow rappers. In his songs he advocates political, social and racial equality. He is recognized by the Guinness Book of Records as the best selling rap artist of all time.
Tupac Shakur survived being shot 5 times in New York in 1994. He did however not survive being shot 4 times in September of 1996 in a drive by shooting. He was pronounced dead 6 days later.
